Met with German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius. He spoke about the situation with the Russian shelling of critical infrastructure in almost all regions of Ukraine. Many damage our energy every day, and it is especially difficult with ballistics because of the chronic shortage of missiles for "patriots". It is important to find new solutions to support the protection of life. We have a strong contract to purchase German-made PAC-2 missiles for the next two years. We are working to speed up delivery. This will greatly help the Ukrainians to get through this winter. More than once the German leadership itself helped to protect thousands and thousands of lives. It was agreed that the teams would work on this option and other things discussed, including IRIS-T and munitions for the F-16. Thank you to Minister Pistorius, Chancellor Mertz and all of Germany for their continued support of our defense. We appreciate every step that makes it possible to preserve life.
