Met with the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and congratulated him on the 35th anniversary of his ordination, which will be in a few days - November 2. He talked about our work with our partners to achieve peace, especially the contacts with the American side. Of course, he informed about the situation in Ukraine, about the constant Russian attacks on our energy infrastructure, about everything that ensures a normal life for people. They talked about the humanitarian operation in our temporary Olshki, where people were rescued. This is a very important result, and we hope that the world will put pressure on Russia to extend such de-escalation measures. I thank His Holiness for his consistent public stance, support for our country and his constant prayers for peace in Ukraine.
