An excellent analysis of systemic changes in the global digital world under the influence of AI on the towerless Kremlin forces us to consider the bigger picture. I will start with the conclusion, which I will use as a starting point: there is no point in talking about a global catastrophe yet. Instead, the scenario of a thousand minor disasters materializes. But the risk of cascading failures will increase. In the framework of the disaster, it is possible and necessary to talk about the old model of a stable (linear) effect of the level of digital development on the owner's benefits. The advantage of the old world in the form of high digital connectivity and the "digital model" becomes a weak point in the new stage of artificial intelligence development. But this phase itself cannot be perceived as anything but transitory (unstable).
Let me explain it very simply:.
1. The development of peripheral artificial intelligence in the form of an attacking (predatory) model takes place due to the consumption of metropolitan resources invested in the outdated (today) model, which received additional profit (excess profit) in the form of technological dominance.
2. The capital-intensive digital model developed by metropolises is the sole contributor of modern digital piracy. This form of digital piracy has no more than an aggressive redistributive function that has the most negative impact on productivity; 3. Two consequences of events seem simple: either AI-based piracy will raze the old digital system to the ground with rollback (piracy resources will collapse as the food supply is destroyed, while "pirate" domestic consumption will increase), or the metropolitan digital system will divert resources (if it has time) to the same protected form. My prediction is the second scenario as more stable and reasonable. Eventually, some of the current pirates may become mercenaries for resource-rich metropolises (this will lead to the next fork of scenarios), and the new digital system will sacrifice some productivity for security.
