The Polish Foreign Minister, Radoslaw Sikorski, said that Ukraine currently has the advantage on the battlefield and emphasized that the settlement after the war cannot be discussed without the participation of the Ukrainian authorities. "A decision cannot be imposed on Ukraine without its consent and presence at the negotiating table - just as European security cannot be a subject of negotiations conducted without our participation," he said. Sikorski added that countries on NATO's eastern side would be most affected by the terms of any potential agreement and would bring an important perspective on the threats posed by Russia.
