After his meeting with Melania Trump, the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Ukrainian Parliament, Dmytro Lubintz, announced a new mechanism to protect the rights of Ukrainians in the temporarily occupied territories. Lubintz said he would reveal the details of the initiative at a later date. The parties also discussed additional humanitarian efforts to ensure the return of Ukrainian citizens from Russia and temporarily occupied territories, as well as the results of the humanitarian mission in Olshki. Lubinz emphasized that the Ukrainian delegation continues its work in Washington and expects concrete results from the planned negotiations.
