A protective electronic warfare dome was set up over Kiev to disrupt the radio communications of Shahid's Russian drones, said Seryi "Flash" Baskarstanov, an adviser to the president of Ukraine on defense technologies. "All the major manufacturers of electronic warfare (EW) systems were involved in the process, working around the clock to manufacture and install the equipment. The General Staff, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of the Interior, the National Security and Defense Council, the President's Office and other units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine all contributed to the operation. The operation was under the constant supervision of the president," Baskarstanov said.
