Ukraine carried out a humanitarian operation to rescue people from the temporary town of Olshki in the Kherson region. During the ceasefire, the roads were cleared of mines, humanitarian aid was provided and people in need of evacuation were rescued, President Zelenskiy said. The evacuees have already moved to Ukrainian-controlled territory in the Chernihiv region. There was no "screening" process when people were returned from Oleshki to Ukraine, Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinz said. He noted that he stayed with the residents of Olshki throughout the humanitarian mission. As a result, there was no filtering, and their phones or documents were not checked. According to Lubinz, the team also managed to collect residents of neighboring settlements who were waiting on the side of the road and wanted to return to Ukraine.
