The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway Aspen Bart Aida. The Foreign Minister thanked Norway for the announcement of the allocation of an additional 53 million dollars for budgetary support to Ukraine. This assistance is essential to ensure the uninterrupted operation of essential public services and the implementation of the necessary payments. "Informed Aspen about the situation on the battlefield, the preparations for the meeting in Abu Dhabi and the successful completion of the humanitarian mission in Olsheki. This case proves that a ceasefire is possible if Russia stops firing. We need to develop this principle and apply it on a wider scale," said Andrey Sibiga. The parties discussed the security situation in the Black Sea and proposals for a ceasefire. Restoring freedom of navigation remains one of the key areas of our efforts. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs thanked Norway for its long-term support within the Nansen support program. This is extremely important for the defense, stability and recovery of Ukraine, especially in the face of increasing Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure. "We are grateful to Norway for its constant support for the sovereignty of Ukraine and the joint efforts to achieve sustainable peace," the minister emphasized.
