Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga had telephone conversations with Singapore's Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan. The head of the Foreign Ministry updated his counterpart on the latest events on the battlefield and the situation in Ukraine's energy sector amid ongoing Russian attacks on our critical energy infrastructure ahead of winter. The parties discussed prospects for strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between Ukraine and ASEAN. Andrey Sibiga noted that in view of Singapore's future chairmanship of ASEAN, Ukraine hopes to deepen cooperation with the region and develop practical cooperation within this important format. "I invited my colleague to visit Ukraine and agreed to have an active dialogue to further develop our bilateral partnership. I am grateful to Singapore for its principled support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine," the minister said.
