The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sibiga, said that Russia is suffering record losses in the war against Ukraine, which are not bringing Moscow closer to achieving its goals: "54,400. Russia's monthly losses - troops killed or seriously wounded in the war against Ukraine - in October reached a record level for the entire duration of the war. This is the price Russia is paying for Putin's insane refusal to stop the senseless bloodshed. Putin is a mass murderer of his people. The daily losses also reached a record level: on October 21 alone, 2,250 Russian soldiers were killed or wounded. At the same time, the defense forces of Ukraine are doing their job and returning our land. In October, Ukraine liberated 96.2 square kilometers of its territory - 10.4 square kilometers more than Russia managed to conquer. Such huge losses did not bring Russia closer to its goals. Russia is not winning and will not win this war. 54,400 of these troops died or were seriously wounded in vain. Ukraine wants to end this war. We are ready for fair and mutual solutions to stop hostilities immediately. But Moscow is not ready for that yet. It is necessary to increase the joint pressure on Russia in all directions to force Putin to sit at the negotiating table and restore peace. He must understand that the price of this war for him, for his entourage and his regime will only increase."
