In 2027, Ukraine will head the main initiative in Europe. As the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, George Tiehey, noted during a media briefing, a meeting of the foreign ministers and the member states of the Central European Initiative will take place in Bucharest on November 6. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga will assume the leadership of the initiative. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is personally invited to take part in the meeting. The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the presidency of these is a recognition of Ukraine's role in the region and opens up additional opportunities for promoting Ukrainian interests.
