The publications about gaps between the political echelon and the IDF on the issue of Iran are completely unfounded and false.

Since I assumed the position of Minister of Defense, the coordination between the Prime Minister and myself and the IDF on the issue of Iran has been complete - with unprecedented historical achievements for the benefit of the security of the State of Israel.

This is the only consideration - and it will be the same in the future.

I state unequivocally that there was no intention of Israel to initiate an attack on Iran before the elections in Israel - when we made it clear that if Iran attacks Israel we will respond with great force, and all the publications on the matter are completely false.

The attempt by the opposition to use these publications to attack the Prime Minister and me and criticize our judgments - while we are prevented for obvious reasons from addressing the details of the Iranian issue - is shameful and irresponsible. We will overcome this too.
