At night, a report was received that Mali and Liel Yahami were arrested while trying to leave Namibia. A representative of the Israel Police abroad contacted the local police and received details and photos. In the investigation by the Intelligence Division personnel, it became clear that it was not two, but foreign citizens who tried to pass themselves off as Israelis.

Apparently these are Iranian citizens. The background for the impersonation and the reason they asked to use an Israeli identity are being investigated
