During the night, the IDF and the Shin Bet carried out an attempted attack in Gaza City against Ali Al-Amoudi, the deputy chairman of the political bureau of organization Hamas in the Gaza Strip, while he was staying in an apartment that was used for terrorist activities in a residential building.

This is further evidence of the hiding of organization Hamas among the civilian population and cynical use of them as a human shield and to promote terrorist traits.

The terrorist Al-Amoudi served as the right-hand man and personal assistant of Yahya Senwar and was involved in the decision-making in the October 7 massacre.

In the past, he was involved in the murder of four Israelis in Judea and Samaria in 1993 and in the incident in which the late Shin Bet coordinator Noam-Menachem Cohen fell in 1994 in Ramallah during an operational activity.

Today, Al-Amudi is the most senior figure in Hamas in the Gaza Strip and is directly involved in activities of Hamas and the restoration of the war movement.

The terrorist was attacked to remove the threat.

The attack was carried out from the air while taking steps to minimize harm to civilians as much as possible, including the use of precision weaponry. The results of the attack are under review.
