In Israel they were sure that the Saudis would approve an Israeli civilian rescue flight from Saudi Arabia - and were surprised that it did not happen. Some of the political and security forces were sure that the Saudis would allow such a flight, among others El Al made an offer, and so did the Israeli Air Force. A proposal was even made for a plane that would arrive without marking - but in the end the Saudis said "no". And what brought the Israelis back was another FlyDubai flight.
