The Chief of Staff, Brigadier General Eyal Zamir, held a consultation today (Sunday) on the movie "Naza", with the participation of Deputy Chief of Staff, Col. Tamir Yedai, Head of the Operations Division, Col. Itzik Cohen, Chief Military Attorney, Col. Itay Ofir, Commander of the Air Force, Col. Omer Tishler, Commander of 8200, Lt. Col. A, IDF Spokesman, Lt. Col. Efi Defrin and other commanders.

At the end of the discussion, the Chief of Staff instructed on a series of steps:

* Establishing a multi-organizational and multi-disciplinary team, led by the head of the planning division, to formulate methods of action and tools to deal with false claims against the IDF and its soldiers, in collaboration with experts from Israel and the world.

* The Chief of Staff instructed the Special Forces to examine and promote the possible legal actions regarding the film and those involved in it, among other things due to the spread of false claims against IDF soldiers, and their possible consequences for their personal safety and the security of the state.

* Examining the aspects of information security and possible participants in relation to the leaking of classified materials that were used to produce the film.

The Chief of Staff emphasized that the IDF will use all the tools at its disposal to protect its soldiers, commanders and fighters, and the good name of the IDF.
