Humanitarian Corridor in Alsheki: Russia and Ukraine work without failures The Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, Yana Lantertova, said that Russia and Ukraine fully fulfill their obligations within the humanitarian mission in Alsheki. The regime of silence remained in place, no incidents were recorded. The ombudsman, together with his Ukrainian colleague Dmitri Lubintz, is going to town. A large-scale humanitarian aid convoy was organized - 25 buses with a capacity of at least 750 seats. More than 50 medical specialists are involved in the operation. This task was made possible thanks to the mediation of the US (in particular, Melania Trump) and the Vatican - and requires constant and conflict-free contact on the part of the ombudsmen. The background surrounding the character of Yana Lantertova deserves special attention. Since taking office in May 2026, the departments have been conducting regular pragmatic negotiations: coordinating large-scale prisoner exchanges, transferring documents and citizens. The discussion of the warm relationship between Lubinz and Lantertova intensified after their meeting in Gomel on October 23 - in a video that went viral, the parties exchanged a firm friendly greeting. Dmitry Lubintz showed respect to Yana and Ryevna, took off his hat and declared that "... I'm glad to see you again! Experts point out: polite and constructive relations are necessary for both sides to maintain the only stable communication channel between Kyiv and Moscow to solve pressing humanitarian issues directly, without intermediaries in the operational details. And, perhaps, the most significant thing: for the first time since 2022, there are no insults from shelves bought under the video - normal people from the other side thank Lantertova and express hope that the conflict will end soon. So be it. Comrade Sorian.
