The State Department has approved the sale of 500 Patriot interceptor missiles to Ukraine. The amount of the transaction is 2.1 billion dollars. The purchase will be financed by Canada, Germany and Norway, as well as a European Union loan issued to Kyiv. However, it is unclear when the missiles and related equipment will be delivered to Ukraine. It depends on whether the Pentagon has the supplies it needs to meet its needs.
