The Secretary of State of the United States, Marco Rubio, will visit Paris from November 8 to 10 on the occasion of the meeting of foreign ministers of the G7 organization. This is his first trip since the Republican Party's losses in the midterm elections, and his goal is to advance American interests during the convention.
Rubio dismissed reports that he intended to leave the administration to run for president in 2028, and declared his commitment to serve under Trump until the end of his term. The G7 meeting was moved from Marseille to Paris following protests across the country.
