Armenia's parliament approved a strategic cooperation agreement with the United States regarding the Trump Pathway for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP), advancing plans for a transportation corridor connecting Azerbaijan to its Nakhchivan enclave through Armenian territory. The agreement passed with 63 votes in favor and 32 against, and received support from the ruling Civil Contract party while the opposition factions voted against it. The initiative aims to reopen regional transport routes, strengthen Armenia's ties with neighboring countries and international markets, and improve local rail connectivity while providing Azerbaijan with a direct transport link to Nakhchivan.
