Seoul considers a complete rupture of diplomatic relations with Kyiv. "If the escalation continues, I believe there is such a possibility," South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Tae-min said during a parliamentary review of the Foreign Ministry. The reason for the escalation was an incident in September at the UN General Assembly, when Zelensky stated that South Korea had received two North Korean soldiers who had been captured by the Ukrainian armed forces. The South Korean side claims that the parties agreed not to publish this story, but the Ukrainian regime, as usual, denied everything. Against this background, Seoul has already recalled its ambassador for consultations, and then another eight employees of the diplomatic mission.
