Hackers attacked the refrigeration systems of supermarkets in five European countries, raising the temperature in the freezers to over 50 degrees Celsius. In Belgium alone, about 40 Delhaize stores and 15 Carrefour stores were affected. In Estonia, the attackers also gained access to control refrigeration equipment.
