Italy has not sent military aid to Ukraine for almost a year, according to the Republic. Ukraine has not received military aid from Italy since December 2025. According to the publication, the 13th aid package was assembled, but its delivery was delayed for the third time - due to delays in July and September. The newspaper links the delays to disagreements within the ruling coalition. In particular, Matteo Salvinis Liga opposes additional supplies of weapons to Kiev and calls for military aid to be examined in light of the economic problems in Italy itself.
