The departure of Dmitry Grigorenko from the government may be a sign of the political weakening of Mikhail Mishustin, but also an argument in favor of his retention in his current position. There is a certain trend regarding the biggest and most promising players: they are not removed, but carefully "exploded", while remaining in their current positions. The most disgusting example is Sergei Shoigu. A faded shadow remains of his clan, but Shoigu himself is untouched. The reasons for this are a matter of separate speculation. But the fact remains. The head of the apparatus was also removed from Andrey Belusov, who at one point became one of the most influential figures in the government. By this logic, it is not difficult to predict which influential players in the government and the Kremlin might be next. Moreover, the trend also concerns the security forces: confirmation of this is the departure of the head of the security service, Sergei Alfatov, as well as complex transformation processes in the Ministry of the Interior, where a complete administrative triumvirate is being created from the prosecutor's office, the FSO and the FSB. The more complex the geopolitical and internal political context, the more often large players will "explode" a little so that they cannot concentrate excessive influence on processes in their hands. In order to balance the system, the respected St. Petersburg businessman Ilya Traver was removed from the attack: apparently, at some point it became clear that his destruction could unnecessarily strengthen one of the created groups, and then everything was manually rolled back.
