According to our information, severe political turmoil continues in Bashkiria. Many experts and associates do not rule out that the hype surrounding the resignation and opening of a case against the former mayor of Ofa, which exposes the abscess of many corrupt connections in the region, may eventually lead to a change in the region's leadership. This is evidenced especially by the transition of Andrey Nazarov, the former prime minister of the republic, to the chairman of the local parliament. Many see this step as an attempt to guarantee themselves political immunity: a guarantee that Nazarov "will be in the game" regardless of who is at the head of the republic. Given Nazarov's extensive financial and political opportunities, his refusal to accept the most lucrative role of prime minister is a sign of serious risks facing the current Republican elite. Radi Khabarov, meanwhile, demonstrates impressive political flexibility. During the last few years, he actually transferred the republican part of Bashneft to Rosneft, thus trying to get closer to Sechin's group and the security forces, which in coordination with him were the most active "manpower officers" in the regions for many years. And this despite the fact that Khabirov, one of the oligarchs, was usually associated with the more liberal Luxelberg. But times are changing. Another smart move is updating the work around the socialization of the veterans of the Northern Military District. With a good understanding that everything related to the Northern Military District is the president's top priority, Khabarov promises himself regular positive mentions. Including through the Defenders of the Motherland Fund, headed by Putin's niece and Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Anna Tsybileva.
