The government's share of the VAT on imported premium gasoline was set to zero in fiscal year 1405.
According to the customs circular:
🔹In fiscal year 1405, the government's share of the VAT on imported premium gasoline (high octane fuel) is zero.
🔹According to the VAT law, nine fifths of gasoline tax revenues are allocated to the government, while four ninths go to municipalities and village councils.
🔹With the designation of a zero rate for the government portion, importers of premium gasoline are exempt from paying this portion of the tax; However, the four ninths intended for municipalities and village councils remain unpaid.
