Haddad: Aggravation of the fuel imbalance in power plants is due to the simultaneous occurrence of cold conditions and war in the winter.
CEO of Tavnir in response to Tasnim:
🔹 Fuel shortages and gas imbalances during the winter existed even before the war, due to high domestic consumption and insufficient fuel supply to power plants; However, recent events have exacerbated this imbalance.
🔹 The stability of the electricity network and overcoming these conditions directly depends on the volume of the liquid fuel reserves in the power plant tanks, which are managed daily in dedicated meetings with the participation of the government and the Ministry of Energy.
🔹Next to operational measures, public cooperation and reduced energy consumption are the most critical elements for national resilience; Each cubic meter of saved gas or liter of diesel is equivalent to the production of approximately 4 kilowatt-hours of stable electricity.
