🔴 war of cultures; Iran's ethnic diversity is the key to its success!
🔸 Rasul Norouzi Firouz, a faculty member at the Research Institute for Islamic Sciences and Culture, spoke at the academic conference "Alexander, Valerian, Rubio: The Fate of the Dream to Rule Iran", organized by Bakirol Ulum University and Tasnim News Agency. Referring to the sequence from the Achaemenids to the Khomeinis, he said: The central question is what ensured continuity between these two historical periods, so that the Iranians, despite huge changes in lifestyle, clothing, food and religious beliefs, still feel a sense of belonging to that era, are proud of it, and do not want to deliberately break away from it.
🔸Iranians can read and interpret the Koran in Arabic, write philosophy in Arabic, and at the same time speak Persian and their local languages. Therefore, this ability serves as an example of society's ability to maintain several cultural and linguistic layers at the same time.
🔸Part of the Iranians' psychological connection to thousands of years of history stems from this ability to connect to their past heritage. On the one hand, the Iranians refer to the Koran, Rumi, Saadi and the Shahnameh; On the other hand, they preserve their native languages in interactions with family and loved ones. In this way, diversity exists within society while maintaining a sense of unity.
