The Ministry of Health denied the claims of the "Times" newspaper regarding the distribution of iodine tablets.
Hossein Karamanpour, spokesman for the Ministry of Health:
🔹No official at the Ministry of Health spoke to the Times; The quotes attributed to the office are false.
🔹 The health care system is prepared for various scenarios and hostile threats that show no mercy even towards children. However, declaring a state of war is not under the authority of the Ministry of Health, and spreading unverified news under such circumstances is irresponsible.
🔸In its report, the Times claimed, citing anonymous sources in the Ministry of Health, that officials are distributing iodine tablets in communities located within a radius of two to three kilometers from sensitive nuclear facilities!
