US Defense Secretary's efforts to justify war on Iran before impeachment.
🔹 Pete Hegseth, Trump's defense secretary who received fire from the Republicans following their defeat in the elections, again cited nuclear weapons as a reason for military action against Iran.
🔹 While the Republicans attribute their humiliating defeat mainly to the Iran war, Hesset claimed: "In my opinion, war is a brave and historic act that ensures that Iran will never obtain a nuclear weapon."
🔹 He claimed: "When we say that Iran will not get nuclear weapons, we really mean it, and we will spare no effort to ensure that this happens."
