Floods and snow are on their way to 7 districts in the country.
🔹 The meteorological organization published an orange warning, and announced increased rain activity from a weather system affecting 7 districts across the country.
🔹 Starting today, Thursday, November 14, 2024, this system will bring rain, thunderstorms, strong winds, dust storms and a significant drop in temperatures. In mountainous areas and at high altitude it will also bring snow.
🔹 According to the forecasts, the provinces of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Koh Ghilwa and Buar-Ahmed, Khuzestan, Ilam, East Lorestan, Kermansha and Gilan will be affected by these weather hazards.
🔹 The potential risks include flash floods, sudden rises in river levels, road flooding and snowfall in mountainous areas. Therefore, citizens are strongly advised to avoid staying or traveling near the banks of rivers and waterways.
