The Iraqi army is on alert along the borders with Iran and Kuwait.

🔹The Iraqi army has taken full security measures along its borders with Iran and Kuwait to deal with any possible consequences.
🔹 Explicit orders were given to Iraqi forces to open fire on any group or individual trying to approach the border areas.
In addition, command of Iraq's 17th Division was transferred from Baghdad to Kirkuk Province, where it is now stationed along the shared borders with the Kurdistan Region.
