Flash: updates on Hajj 1406 and Umrah expeditions.
Ayatollah Norbad, representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage, in a conversation with Tasnim News:
🔹 Hajj cannot be postponed; It must be done anyway. With God's help, our people will also be able to perform Hajj in 1406.
🔹Pilgrims have already been registered, and most of them have undergone medical examinations.
🔹Problems related to the Hajj - including relations with the host country, government authorities responsible for the supply of foreign currency and flight arrangements - must be resolved so that we do not disappoint our people. Once these coordination efforts are completed, necessary announcements will be made, and registration, caravan organization and pre-Hajj meetings will take place, Insha'Allah.
🔹Government support to cover pilgrimage expenses is essential. Discussions are ongoing with the government and the central bank to allocate foreign currency according to the country's economic conditions.
🔹In the second half of the month of Aban, a delegation from the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization will travel to Saudi Arabia to supervise the preparations for the Hajj for the year 1406.
🔹Regarding Amra, negotiations to lay the foundations for sending pilgrims continue. After the government determines the required allocation of foreign currency, the planning of Amra expeditions can proceed accordingly.
