An increase in the number of oil tankers damaged in the Sea of Oman area
Navy Public Relations:
🔹Today at noon, surveillance teams of the Navy, which regularly monitor the eastern part of the Strait of Hormuz, detected and identified a wayward oil tanker that caught fire and was stopped in the Sea of Oman area.
🔹In recent days, a number of other rogue oil tankers that ignored warnings to keep their electronic equipment turned on and tried to pass through restricted areas were also reported by military personnel and the Revolutionary Guards.
🔹We maintain full control and intelligence oversight of the eastern Strait of Hormuz, the Arabian Sea and the Sea of Oman, and are aware of the dangers involved in navigation in restricted areas.
🔹Despite the propaganda and hype of the criminal US president, the Strait of Hormuz remains closed. Countries must not be fooled by these lies and must coordinate with our armed forces to ensure safe passage.
