Janefshan secured Iran's first medal

🔹 Hassan Janefshan, the sole representative of Iran for table tennis at the 2026 Para Asia Games in Nagoya, played his second match in the group stage tonight. An experienced Para-Asian Games medalist, Janfeshan faced Macau's Cheng Lao Chou in Class 2, Group B, and won 3-1.

🔹 At the age of 60, the Iranian representative is the oldest athlete in the Iranian delegation. He lost the first game 12-10 but then won the next games 11-1, 11-3 and 11-2. After defeating the Japan representative earlier today, Janefshan now tops Group B with two wins.
