French police clashed with protesters ahead of protests across the country

🔹With the beginning of the protests across the country in France, the police in Lyon dispersed protesters along the river, while the police in Paris surrounded and blocked a group of protesters near the Gare du Nord station.

🔹Tens of thousands participate in these demonstrations against rising costs, poor school conditions and police actions against student rallies.

🔹The authorities expect about 500 demonstrations to take place across France, when the yellow vest movement will join forces with student groups.
