At 4:49 a.m. today, a collision accident was reported to the fire department on Basij Road, in the northbound lane, before Mulatami Road. Upon arriving at the scene, the firefighters found a Peugeot 207 car with three passengers. For unknown reasons - which are being investigated by the traffic police - the car veered off the road, crossed a ditch on the side of the road and collided with a utility pole. The impact was so severe that the utility pole was completely broken, and the Peugeot 207 was heavily damaged. In the crash, two female passengers - one about 30-35 years old and the other a 7-9-year-old girl - were thrown from the vehicle. The passenger, about 35 years old, was found near the car injured. After receiving initial treatment, the passenger was transferred to emergency medical services. However, during the examination, it became clear that the two passengers succumbed to their injuries.
