The tragic martyrdom of the deceased Apsana Akila, the commander of the women's unit in Sij in Mehran province, at the hands of criminal terrorists who violated the privacy of her home and family and turned their weapons on a woman dedicated to maintaining security and serving the people, once again exposes the ugly face of terrorism and the security and hostility of the Iranian people. The pure blood of the martyr Apsana Akila, like that of other martyrs in this country, testifies to the unwavering determination of the Iranian nation to protect its security, honor and independence. I am confident that the path paved by this selfless woman will be continued by the will of the people and the efforts of the sons and daughters of this country, and that the perpetrators of this crime will be held accountable before the law and justice. On this occasion, I offer my congratulations and condolences on the honorable martyrdom of this pious and selfless woman to His Highness, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the noble family of this slain and the brave and honorable people of Sistan and Baluchistan. I pray to Almighty God to grant this noble martyr a high rank in heaven and grant patience and reward to her bereaved family.
