Are children victims of efforts to increase movie sales? New footage showing children going to the cinema to watch the film suggests that some are willing to do anything to increase sales. This is happening at a time when at least three films suitable for children, teenagers and families are now showing in cinemas. From the published clips it appears that this initiative was coordinated with theater owners and possibly film producers to increase ticket sales. However, the exploitative use of children for promotional purposes cannot be ignored. First and foremost, education authorities must respond to such programs. Meanwhile, cinema managers should take strict and deterrent measures against any possible violation by the theater owners. More importantly, there is a growing trend aimed at turning children's minds away from the innocent and wholesome cinematic experiences they deserve, and directing them instead towards the vulgar content prevalent in Iranian comedy films. It's all part of an agenda that focuses solely on maximizing sales and staying at the top of the box office charts!
