Survival: Establishing sustainable security requires the cooperation of regional countries Foreign Ministry spokesman: The Islamic Republic of Iran has repeatedly emphasized its principled and sincere position of no enmity with the countries of the region and the need for cooperation to create stable security. Iran cannot remain silent against the use of the territory of several countries in the region to attack the national sovereignty and security of its people. The recent developments were the result of some neighbors' excessive reliance and trust in the US military presence and even accompanying it. Building trust is a two-way process, and Iran's reasonable expectation is that countries in the region will not allow their territory or facilities to be misused against a large neighbor. Of course, these wrong attitudes of the past can still be corrected.
