Retention of the international seats of the World Bodybuilding Federation by two Iranians During the Electoral Congress of the IFBB Federation in the city of Santa Susanna, Spain, Rafael Santoha, the President of the World Bodybuilding Federation, was re-elected as the President of this Federation for the next four years. In this congress, two members of the World Iranian Federation were candidates for the new term in different positions and both won international seats with the votes of the members of the assembly. Abdul Mahdi Nasirzadeh, the former president of the Federation of Body Development, was re-elected as the vice-president of the World Federation by a vote of the members of the assembly. Sde Hashemi was also elected head of the World Federation's fitness challenge committee by vote of the members of the assembly.
