The Palestinian prisoner Hassan Salma was injured by nine bullets fired by the IDF inside an Israeli prison, today, Monday, according to what his wife, writer and activist Ofran Elzamil announced, noting that his health condition is very critical, due to the fear for his life.

Salma (age 55) was subjected to previous threats weeks ago from the Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gabir, inside the prison, and Palestinian human rights reports recently confirmed the deterioration of Salma's health and the harsh conditions in which he lives in isolation.

At the end of last September, Ben Gabir posted a video clip on his X account, in which we see him attacking the cell of the prisoner Selma and threatening him by saying: "I want to kill you... I want to execute you."

Hassan Salma, from the Gaza Strip, has been detained since 1996, and was sentenced to 48 life sentences plus another 30 years. Israel refused to release him as part of a prisoner exchange deal in 2011.
