CNN Brazil has revealed new information about how right-wing Senator Flavio Bolsonaro left Brazil for the United States, accompanied by his wife and two daughters, following his loss in the presidential election to President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
The channel reported on Saturday evening, based on surveillance camera recordings, that Bolsonaro crossed the land border to Argentina via the international bridge Tancredo Neves, accompanied by a former Israeli intelligence official who worked for the Mossad, and arrived in Brazil on October 19.
She added that the Bolsonaro family boarded from the Argentine city of Puerto Iguazú on a private Gulfstream G400 plane belonging to the "Bairfly" company, while President Lula da Silva described the senator's departure, despite the issuance of a travel ban, as a "disgraceful matter."
Bolsonaro has been investigated in cases related to corruption and money laundering, including suspicions of illegally financing a film about his father's biography, and others related to his lawyer, Vilar Tomáz.
