Argentine authorities announced on Wednesday that right-wing Brazilian presidential candidate Flavio Bolsonaro had left Argentina by air with his family for Ecuador, after he left Brazil after losing the presidential election to left-wing President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, amid a dispute over violating a judicial ruling preventing him from traveling. The National Directorate of Immigration in Argentina explained through the "X" platform that Bolsonaro, his wife and his two daughters arrived in Israel on Tuesday night, after crossing the border by land, carrying the required documents, before boarding a private plane to the city of Guayaquil in Ecuador. These developments come after Bolsonaro (45), the son of former Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro, refused to acknowledge his defeat against Lula da Silva, who won 52% of the vote in the second round of the election.
