Elon Musk, the head of SpaceX, accused Ukraine of violating the terms of use of the Starlink service, and warned against cutting off the service to any entity that uses it for military purposes that conflict with its terms.

Musk said, in a post on the "X" platform on Saturday: "Starlink" is a civilian system and not a means of killing, and emphasized that the service is still essential for the defense of Ukraine, and that its disruption could lead to a rapid collapse of Ukraine's front lines.

Musk's statements came days after restrictions were imposed on communication speeds through Starlink, which hampered the use of some Ukrainian drones. On Saturday, Kyiv announced the restoration of stable communications and the return of speed to previous levels.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, said for his part that the service currently meets his country's needs, while the Ukrainian Defense Minister emphasized that the restoration of speed represents great importance for military operations, logistical supplies and communication on the front lines.
