About 2,500 British and French troops took part in seven weeks of military training in Germany, which included one of the biggest strikes Britain has carried out in two decades, the British government said on Sunday.
The maneuvers involved 600 British and French paratroopers jumping from four RAF A400M Atlas military transport planes, arriving amid the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian war.
The exercise, called "Titan Rhino", was held at the Zinnellager military center in Germany, with the aim of testing the ability of NATO forces to deal with a modern attack, including threats posed by drones and electronic warfare tools.
Referring to the maneuvers, British Defense Secretary Wes Streeting said in a statement: "The threats we face in the 21st century require a modern, modern approach to war-fighting, and our flexible armed forces are preparing accordingly."
