Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Piden said during a press conference with his Hungarian counterpart Anita Orban in Ankara:
- When a country party to the "Mecca Agreement" is exposed to an attack, it stands by it to protect it, it is not an offensive agreement.
- Turkey will not send its forces to the territory of another country to carry out an attack from there.
The necessary steps to refer the agreement to the Turkish Parliament have been completed.
