The Saudi General Authority for Civil Aviation announced on Wednesday that 3 people were killed and 36 others were injured as a result of two attacks that attacked the Abha International Airport in the Asir region, southwest of the kingdom, and the King Khaled International Airport in the capital Riyadh during Tuesday and Wednesday, emphasizing that emergency teams and competent authorities began to deal with both incidents as soon as they occurred.
The Authority reported that "the attack on Abha Airport resulted in the death of two residents of Moroccan and Algerian nationality and the wounding of 28 citizens and residents, including a Bangladeshi and a Filipino," while "the attack on King Khaled Airport led to the death of a Sudanese resident and the wounding of 8 others, including 5 Saudis, two Egyptian residents, and two Egyptian residents." The injuries in both incidents ranged from minor to severe.
