The Syrian Ministry of the Interior announced the foiling of an attempt to smuggle a large shipment of drugs crossing the Lebanese border towards the village of Damascus, in coordination between the Drug Control Administration and the border guard forces.
The office explained that the operation resulted in the seizure of 62 kg of hashish and 210,000 captagon pills.
She approved the confiscation of all seized items, while investigations continue to reveal the circumstances of the case and pursue the network involved to bring its members to justice.
