The Prime Minister of Sudan, Kamal Idris, told TRT in Arabic:

• We greatly welcome any Turkish role in supporting peace negotiations in Sudan. I thank the leadership, government and people of Turkey for their honorable position towards the people of Sudan.

• There is no "quick support" now because it turned to groups of mercenaries and gangs, and the military path is moving in the right direction and we are achieving great victories.

• We call on everyone to put the Sudanese peace initiative on the discussion table, and arrangements are being made to hold the Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue soon
